Weldon Doyle McAdams passed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ his Savior on a beautiful, sunny spring morning, Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Pflugerville, Texas. He was born in Austin, Texas on March 16, 1940. He just celebrated his 75th birthday.

Doyle was proceeded in death by his Father and Mother, Edward Weldon McAdams and Gladys Lavida (Stockton) McAdams, his brother Bobby Joe McAdams and one nephew, Chris Bingham.

He is survived by his wife, Frances McAdams; his children, Kimberley Kay McAdams, Michelle Diane McAdams, Shannon Doyle McAdams and Denise Marie Pharr; and nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his brother Everett McAdams and his wife Linda; his sister Sandra Brogden and her husband Rob; his sister Patricia Reynolds; and his brother, Mark McAdams and his wife Janet. Doyle is survived by several nieces and nephews as well as his sister-in-law, Trixie McAdams. Sandra Massey, the Mother of his children, also survives him.

Doyle was fun loving and had a care free spirit. He took great pride in whatever he did always being the neat and organized one. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Both Doyle and his wife Frances renewed their walk with the Lord in 2005. Doyle became a faithful student of the Bible and often would discuss what he was studying with those around him. Doyle and Frances became active members of Cedar Valley Baptist Church.

After retiring Doyle took over the duties of cutting the grass (thank goodness). After having his leg amputated in 2007 he continued mowing on his "Cadillac" as he called the lawn mower. We will be forever grateful to our faithful neighbors, Danny and Shevawn Timmons, who helped us throughout that period of time and continue to do so today. Whenever the lawnmower broke down, Danny would be on the spot immediately to get Doyle rolling one more time.

We are also grateful to Doyle's lifelong friend Jerry Mueller and his wife, Betty for their many calls and visits during Doyle's last few years of illness.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Garner, Joshua McAdams, Clint Bingham, Tyler Pharr, Brad Flaherty and Danny Timmons.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home located at 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas. Services will be held at the same location on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel with interment in the
Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery. Doyle's brother, Mark McAdams, will officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Cedar Valley Baptist Church, P.O. Box 909, Elgin, TX 78621 in care of the Loving Others Ministry.
